Europol Joint Supervisory Body

REPORTS

Activity reports

Individuals and public bodies have the right to know about the work of the JSB and access information on how and why its decisions are taken. The JSB is concerned with enhancing the transparency of its work and believes this helps to increase public and practitioners' trust and confidence in its work.

According to Article 34(6) of the Europol Council Decision the JSB must regularly draw up activity reports. These reports are sent to the European Parliament and to the Council. Current practice is that the JSB issues its activity reports every two years. So far, four activity reports have been presented to the EU institutions and to the public.
